If your content has been removed from our website due to a DMCA takedown request and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification.

How to Submit a DMCA Counter-Notice

To request restoration of removed content, please send a written counter-notice to our designated DMCA Agent (listed below), including the following:

  1. Your full legal name, address, phone number, and email address.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared on AlanReview.com.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that: “I have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.”
  4. A statement that you: “Consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my address is located, or if outside of the U.S., to the jurisdiction of any U.S. district court where AlanReview.com is located, and will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice or their agent.”
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

What Happens Next?

Once we receive your counter-notification:

  • If it is valid, we will forward it to the original complainant.
  • If they do not file a lawsuit within 10–14 business days, we may restore the content in question.
  • We reserve the right to reject counter-notifications that are incomplete, abusive, or clearly fraudulent.

Important: Submitting a false DMCA counter-notice may result in legal consequences under §512(f) of the DMCA. Please ensure your claim is genuine.
